A rare night out...

Well as the title suggests I had a rare night out on Tuesday night. Kristen and I went to the Cricket at the Adelaide Oval. South Australia were playing New South Wales. It was a 20/20 match, so the perfect opportunity for Kristen to go to her first Cricket game. I'm not sure I like the format, but it's good for the little kids to go and watch. Although in saying that she now wants to go to an Australian international game. Unfortunately she'll be back in Brisbane before the games are here, but I promised her that if she's still interested come September this year, I'll get her a ticket for a one day game for Christmas. So we'll see what happens.

South Australia LOST by 7 wickets I think.

It was quite funny, all the questions that Kristen was asking me on Tuesday night, were pretty much the same questions that I'd asked my Dad when I first got into cricket.

While Kristen and I were at the Cricket, Mum took the boys and Phoebe to the Beach. They had a GREAT time there as well.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Just wanted to quickly pop in and wish everyone a

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Welcome to 2008

Hope this year is as good as you hope it will be.

We have a busy year this year just from invites so far. We have 2 weddings to attend, both of them in Melbourne, hopefully we can make it. We have Kristens graduation at the end of the year, in which she would like both Richard and I go attend, so will have to see about that one, but 1 of us at least will be there. And I'm sure there will be other things pop up through out the course of the year.

Well here we are.. My 28th Birthday. OMG did I just say that...

Thank you to those of you who sent gifts, cards and messages.. Will get around to sending individual emails, thank you's tomorrow when things aren't so hectic around here.

I had a great day!!! Got spoilt as usual. Rich and the kids all got me breakfast in bed, yummo.. Pancakes, and raison toast, and then we did the pressies.. Rich got me a new top and a pair of pants, and the kids got me a new diary for next year, a charm for my bracelet, and a CD that I can put on and bop away to while cleaning the house.

We also went to the zoo, lucky I managed to get everything packed last night and just needed to take out the frozen water and pack that this morning. It was sooo hot at the Zoo today, I think between all of us, we went through 8 litres of water. But we had a GREAT time. James thought it was soo good seeing all the animals. We got to see the SeaLions get fed, and the Lions get fed. It was great. Kristen made sure she saw her favourite animal - COWS!! We had a lovely picnic lunch there, and then stopped for an iceblock when we'd finished. Mum came as well so that was nice.

Last night, Mum invited us over for dinner, because of going out today she knew that we wouldn't make it, and she wanted to give me my pressies as well. So we went round, and my Uncle turned up, (it was his birthday too) I haven't seen him in a year so that was nice to see him again. For my birthday Mum got me some new towels and facewashers, some new tshirts, and 2 new charms for my bracelet, a nice blue topaz earring and necklace set, and a nice pair of red earrings.

Amidst all the excitement of today, was also our 4th Wedding anniversary. Not that we did anything this year, we've decided the years we have the girls we'll just leave it, as it's difficult to go and and do stuff..

Ok better go and get these kids out of the pool. They've been in there since 6pm and it's now 8pm. They only got out for dinner (Pizza) and then went back in. Luckily I can see the pool from the kitchen where the computer desk is. And there's only the girls and James in there. Before I go though here are some piccies of today...

There are some more photos with the girls in them, but they're on Mum's camera, so will have to put them up tomorrow when I do the Christmas post...

Take care Love Gail. xoxoxo

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Thought I'd pop in and wish everyone a

VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS
hope you all have a great day and get spoilt rotten...

We're going to be having a quiet christmas this year.. Well quiet compared to other years, this year there will be no driving to Brisbane to either pick up or drop off the girls. We have them ALL of christmas day which will be brilliant. We're going to have the morning at home opening pressies, and then will go to Mum's for lunch. So very, very quiet.

It's interesting to see James getting into Christmas. He still doesn't quite get the concept of father christmas but is loving all the christmas decorations up in the shops and at home, and of course wants all the presents that are under the tree.. So I'm hoping that by next year he'll totally understand christmas.

We were at Mum's yesterday, and she had bought the boys an elf out-fit each. So we dressed the boys up as elves, Kristen as Rudolph and Phoebe as a Fairy. They all look soo cute.

Hope everyone has a GREAT Christmas tomorrow.. Take care and will be back with photos later.

Photos at last....

Harrison sitting at the park in Handorf. I love this piccie so much that I've decided it's his birthday photo for this year.

James and Harrison at the same park. James wasn't going to have his photo taken at that point, and my Harry Harry just smiled away.

Happy Birthday Harry Boy!!!

OMG I can't belive that Harrison is 1 already.

This time last year I was sitting in a hospital bed recovering from a C/Section, and now here I am with a walking, talking 1 year old.

The day started off quite late for us. Neither of the boys woke until 8:30am, and then it was James yelling out for Rich or I to get up and get him out of bed. Rich and I both got up, and then I heard Harrison so got him up as well. As soon as he saw his presents in the loungeroom that was it. He wanted to open them straight away.

After he opened his presents, we had breaky and then decided to head up to Handorf (which is a small german village in the hills) A friend of mine is leaving Adelaide tomorrow (Monday) to go back to Ipswich. Her Hubby is in the Army and so is being posted back there. So thought it would be a nice day to go for a drive. What a mistake that was....

Today of all days was the annual Motorcycle Fun Run from Adelaide to Handorf. Where Motorcyclists from all over Australia ride their bikes from Adelaide to Handorf with toys for underprivilledged children for Christmas. On our drive up there we passed, and we passed by heaps of bikes, but we weren't prepared for the amount that were already there. Once we arrived in Handorf we managed to find a park and started walking towards the main street when ALL the bikes started riding past. There must have been at least 2000 bikes in total. For the next hour I reckon, there was a constant, steady stream of bikes riding down the main street towards the oval. James of course thought it was GREAT, and kept saying, look mummy johns bike johns bike. It was soo cute.

Once the bikes had finished we met up with Linsey who only had Patrick with her. Addison was back in the hotel room sleeping with her hubby Adam. So we had lunch, and then went back to her hotel room and had a chat. I couldn't get over how grown up Addison is, he will be 4 months old on Christmas Eve. It will be sad not to be able to meet up with her anymore, but we now have an extra place to visit when we go back to QLD for holidays.

It was then on to Mum's for dinner and desert. YUM YUM!!!! Will some back and post some pics for all to see later... Better get going and put these two tired boys to bed...
Take care
Love Gail.

WALKING!!!!

That's right you read correctly.. Harrison is walking now... He started walking along furniture a few weeks ago, but is now walking along anything that will hold him up. Mum bought a walker for him to play with at her place and he walks along holding it 1 handed. He thinks he's just it. He's decided that he doesn't like crawling much anymore, you have to hold his hand and walk with him. He is still a bit unsteady on his own, but last night took 3 steps on his own before realising what he did. It's so cute to watch. So I'm guessing it won't be too long now and he'll be walking on his own. NNNOOOOO!!! Where has my baby gone.

Starting to gear up here for December. It's the worst month of the year for us. Not just because of Christmas but 4 birthdays and 1 wedding anniversary.. Phoebe the 8th, Harrison the 9th, my uncle the 29th and me the 30th. And then our Wedding Anniversary also on the 30th. And then of course Christmas on the 25th.

We have already paid for the girls tickets to come for Christmas this year. It's going to be nice, the first time in the 7 Christmases Rich and I have been together, that we've had the girls ALL of Christmas day. Usually it was Christmas morning us - Christmas afternoon annette and then vice versa the following year, but with us being here in Adelaide now it makes it a bit difficult. So the girls are arriving on Friday the 14th at 9am or something like that. We can't wait to see them. James knows that they're coming soon, and so everytime we go out. "Mummy we go airport and see Gisten and Bebe on pane." I have to keep telling him that we will see them soon. So at least we know that he is really excited about seeing the girls.

Not much else to report here at the moment. Mainly wanted to fill you in on what Harry boy is doing.

Mid week mayhem

Not much to report this week.

Oh I don't know if I've said anything yet, but I went out a few weeks ago and got all my hair chopped off. Will see if I have a pic on my comp. It's quite short. But it's soo much easier to manage in a morning. Just have to brush, put gel in and off I go. Whoo hoo.. I love it.. Have to go back in a week or two and get it cut again as it's grown and has lost the look that I was after. But I'm happy with it.

Only 3 and a bit weeks until my Harry boy is 1.. Where has the year gone. It only hit me a few days ago, that 3 weeks after Harry's birthday is my birthday. I'd kind of forgotten about that, what with Phoebe's birthday, then Harry's, then Xmas I don't have time to think about me anymore. I'm pretty confident that I have all of Harrison's present, and will go out when the girls arrive and buy something from them to give to Harrison for his birthday. We won't be doing anything special for his actual birthday, might just go to Mum's for dinner, but the following weekend, we will be having a party for him. Again it won't be a big thing, and no where near as big as James's first birthday was, but we'll still have something.

Speaking of the girls. I can't belive that it's only 4 weeks and they will be here.. The 12 weeks inbetween their visits is getting shorter and shorter. Maybe I'm just getting busier and busier. What did Rich and I work out today.. My week consists of something like this.. Mondays - Personal training session at the gym, Tuesdays - Work, Wednesdays - Slim session at the gym, Thursdays - Housework, Fridays - finally a day at home with the boys doing nothing, Saturdays - Shopping with Mum and Sundays - spending some family time with Rich. No wonder the weeks are flying by at the moment.

James has gone back to sleeping in his cot. He didn't want the big boy bed just yet. Which is fine by me, I don't mind either way. The side is still off the cot, so all we have to do is swing the cot around and it's a big boy bed. But it's up to him. Mum and I decided the other day that after Xmas, in the new year, we are going to start TTing James. He's now 2 1/2 so we figure that he's well and truly at that age.

Ok well will leave it there at it's bed time.. Hope everyone is well..

We have a BIG BOY in the family!!!!

Well I'm pleased to announce that we have a BIG BOY in the house!!

The last few days I've taken the side off of James's cot and he's slept in it during the day, well last night I left it off, and guess what??

HE SLEPT ALL NIGHT!!! whhooo hoooo!!! YAYAYAY!!! I was soo happy.. So next weekend Rich and I will be putting the big boy bed up for James. And as a special treat for going into a big boy bed, we will get him a Thomas the Tank engine or Bob the Builder quilt cover set. Which ever he wants more.

It's too scary to think that my baby is growing up.

Back again.

Sorry I haven't been in for a while to update. We've been having troubles with the phone line. Telstra have now been out and fixed the problem, YAY, so we finally have the internet back again.

Not much has been going on here lately. Same old stuff really. Harrison's close to walking, he's walking along the furniture, and has decided to push his high chair around the kitchen floor. So I really dont' think it will be too long.

James is STILL going through his stage of not wanting to eat dinner. I'm not too worried though as he's eating during the day, just not tea. So on the nights that he's not eating, he goes to bed at 7pm, no later. He's slowly learning that he doesn't get any treats, but I think it's going to be a while before he really understands it.

Richard's still working long hours, I can't wait for him to have a decent day job, that means he can be home with us of a night time. I HATE with a passion, being home alone at night. But at least it's paying the bills.

Have a few new pics to show you all.. I went to a friends today, and she's getting into the whole photography thing a lot, and has a few props. So we set them up and I got a few good shots of the boys...

I've also been getting into Digi Scrapping, thanks to a good friend Skipper. I did a few LO's tonight. I'm quite impressed with them. Here's a couple that I've done.

GET WELL SOON HELEN!!!!

I received a txt message on my phone this morning, my best friend Helen, has been admitted into hospital to have her appendix taken out. I don't have anymore info other than that, but I am going to call her tonight and see how she is. It was such a shock to get the message though, I was only talking to her the other night and she was sooo excited about Matthew being accepted into AEIOU (a speciallist child care centre for children with autism) I really hope that she's ok.

Anyway better go, both boys are awake and in need of bum changes.

Throat Infection!!

Sorry I haven't been able to update this week as I said. I've been struck down with a dreaded throat infection. I've spent most of this week in bed trying to escape from the pain. Luckily I am now on antibiotics and it's getting better. Today is the first day I can eat/drink without too much pain. Still think that I might have to keep up the 4 hourly panadol/nurofen during the day, but I'd much rather do that than nothing at all.

With having been so sick the last week, and my most recent weigh in on Wednesday night, I had lost a huge 1.9kg. I was so over the moon about that, for me that's great. Especially considering I had been putting on for weeks at a time. So I guess being sick, does have it's advantages. Now I just have to get back into routine food wise. I'll get there though.

Both boys seem to be a bit sick. Harrison has a horrible cough, and James has a runny nose. Nothing to take them to the Dr's about, so we'll just give them panadol and demazin and see what happens.

Sunday last week Richard went out to mow the lawn and James decided to help out. He got his little toy lawn mower and followed Richard around the back yard. It was so gorgeous, after him being so scared of them 6 months ago, to now following Richard around. Although it's now Harrison who is scared of them. Oh well, hopefully he'll grow out it soon.

I can't remember if I have written on here before, but Richard and I have finally decided on a theme for Harrison's first birthday. We are going to do a Thomas the Tank theme. Mainly for James' amusement but thought that it would be nice. So I'm going to have to start sending out invitations soon, seeing as it's only 8 weeks till his birthday. It seems quite weird, by James's 1st birthday I was already 12-15 weeks pregnant with Harrison, this time round I won't be. Richard and I have decided to wait a while before trying again.

Spoke to a good friend of mine the other day, and she's been involved in 2 car accidents in a matter for a few weeks. She's a bit shaken up but isn't hurt too badly which is a relief. I'm planning on going to Melbourne at some point to see her, just have to get the $$ together to get there.

Ok well that's all Harrison's going to let me do. He's now pulling at my leg demanding a drink and something to eat. So will have to leave this here for today. Hope that everyone reading this is well.

Another lot bite the dust!!

I can't believe school holidays are over yet again.

The girls arrived in Adelaide on Tuesday the 18th September, for what was only meant to be 1 week. But a few nights before they were due to go home, Kristen rang her mum and asked if they could stay a bit longer. Which they were. So in the end we had them for 2 whole weeks. It was great. I really enjoyed having the extra few hands to help with the boys if I was busy. The house is so quite now that they have gone (she says while both Harrison and James are screaming at me.)

While they were here we did quite a few park trips. We went to a really nice little park in North Adelaide, and Regency Park which is 2 mins away from Mum. North Adelaide was lovely, it was a nice day, wasn't too hot or too cold. And the kids absolutely enjoyed it. I don't think any of them wanted to come home, James in particular. Regency Park on the other hand, we were only there for about 10 mins. It was cold, wet and miserable. So I've told the girls next time they come for the school holidays that we will go there for a picnic.

We also had a 1st birthday to attend. Some friends of ours, little boy Hunter, turned one while the girls were here. We were invited to a GREEN themed party. Which is where the family photo came from. We had a good day, although everytime I put Harrison down on the floor and walked away he totally lost it. He wasn't a happy little vegemite, but the second he saw me again he perked right up.

The following weekend, Mum and I decided to take the kids to Victor Harbor for the day. We were hoping to see some Whales as there was 1 there 3 days before hand, but wouldn't you know it, it had gone when we got there. Oh well, it was still a nice day. It was one of the first, if not only time, I have been there with the sun out. We had to put sunscreen on the kids it was that nice. Some of the photos from that day are to the left in the slideshow that's there.

Well that's about it from me now. The boys have finished their breakfast so I guess that means I must go along and be a good mum.

Take care and talk soon.
Gail.

My boys are growing up!!!

Well once again it's been a while since I last updated.

Life here goes on as usual. Rich is working full time, although he is now taking Sundays off. So it's nice to be able to spend some family time together.

James is talking more and more. When ever I call out his name these days he turns around to me and says "Where are you mum?" Although he is going through this stage at the moment that's driving me insane. He WILL NOT eat his dinner, I know that most 2 year olds go through it, but boy I'll be glad when it's over. He seems to want to eat what he wants, when he wants. So we have decided to cut out a lot of the snacks that he would have inbetween his meals to hopefully help that. But doesn't seem to be working at the moment.

Harrison, is just growing everyday. More and more milestones with him. He's now eating 3 solid meals a day. Weetbix/toast for breakfast, custard/sandwhich for lunch (depending on if he had toast for breaky) and what ever we eat for dinner. With his bottles inbetween as well.
He started pulling himself up on furniture early this week. He sits himself up then holds onto what ever he's in front of, and then pulls himself up into a kneeling position. I walked into his bedroom the other day, and he was almost standing up in his cot. I couldn't believe it. Then on Thursday, he started crawling properly. He's been commando/snake crawling for a few weeks now and is motoring along. It was so cute, earlier tonight, James was crawling along on the floor the way Harrison does, and Harrison decided to follow. So up and down the hallway there were going, this went on for about 20 mins. No wonder they are both sleeping so well right now.

As for me, my weight loss is going slow but steady. Some weeks are good, some weeks are bad, but now that my operation is over, and I can get back into some serious exercise, I'm getting back on track. So I'm happy with that!! :)

Well I think that's about it for now. I will try and update again fairly soon.

And so it continues...

...my jumper/cardigan. I finally got my wool off layby yesterday, and spent most of last night knitting away. I've finished the left side panel of it now. I'm going to try and work on the right side tonight. (In between cleaning and looking after both boys. James is home tonight as well)

Unfortunately I don't have batteries in the camera at the moment so I can't take a piccie of whats been done so far. But as soon as they have charged and I've done a little more I'll post a pic and show you all what it looks like.

Ok gotta go. James is crying over something. BBL with more updates.

Take care

A day at the Movies!!!

Hello again!!

We've had a great day today.. I had planned on taking the boys to Mum's for the day and then coming home and going to the gym. But hey plans are made to be broken aren't they?? Richard and I ended up going into the City. While we were there we had lunch in the Myer centre, I got the rest of the wool off layby to finish my Jumper off, and then we went to see Harry Potter: The Order of the Phoenix. Richard absolutely LOVED the new HP movie. I didn't think he would, but he's now waiting for the next installment. Mind you I had to tell him that it won't be out till next year at the earliest. He was a bit put out, but hey things happen. I thought it was pretty good as well. I'm just lucky that I have the next one in Book form, so can read that while waiting.

When we got to Mum's about 6:30pm, James was already in bed. He'd been quite painful today for her. (What else is new) All he was doing all day was taking the toys off the kids that Mum had in care, including Harrison. Everytime he got into trouble he would start crying, but 2 seconds later was back doing it again. Mum said that he asked to go to bed twice today of his own accord. We bought Harrison home with us and he is as we speak playing and rolling around the loungeroom floor. I'm thinking of putting him to bed soon but I think he has other ideas.

Oh, I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamt that I am 14 weeks pregnant. Now I know that that's impossibe because I had to do a test ready for the next lot of surgery, so I know for a fact that I'm not pregnant. But it was a weird dream all the same. What made it even more weird was that I apparently found out that I was pregnant at 4 weeks old, told Mum, and then forgot about it until I was 14 weeks. I really don't see that happening, as I'm not the sort of person who would forget that type of thing. Too weird for me.

Well must be off. Harrison's finally get grumpy so I'm thinking I might put him to bed, and hopefully he sleeps before Rich heads off to work, which will make my life easy tonight.

Take care.
Gail.

Well it's been a while since I last updated in here, not as long as I thought it had been though.

Same as usual not much has been happening. Harrison is growing more and more everyday. He's even started sitting up by himself the last day or so. Only for a few seconds at a time but he's getting there. He is however rolling all around the floor. I only have to put him down in 1 spot and literally seconds later he's on the other side of the floor. Take now for instance, I put him down to watch TV, and he's now in the kitchen, so I can see that I'm going to have to get up and bring him back into the lounge before he gets to something that he shouldn't. (ie something James has left in there.)

James is saying and doing so much now. His latest thing is to sing and dance to The Wiggles. He loves the song on "Wake up Jeff" called "Clap your hands and sing everybody", he stands at the TV and twirls around when they say, and claps and pretty much does all the actions. It's soo cute. The last couple of days he's really been missing the girls. All we get everyday is "Kiggen, Bebe" And of course he calls for them either while they are at school and I can't call, or about 8pm when he's going to bed and it's too late to call.

Rich is at work again, being Saturday night he'll be gone all night. Such a pity really, we hardly get to see each other anymore, but it'll all be worth it in a few months time when the bills are up to date and we can go out together on dates here and there. As much as it annoys us that we don't get to spend time together, HE LOVES his job, and thats the main thing. He's hoping that next year he will be able to do his Cert 3 and move on to daytime security work which will be much better for us as a family.

Only another 4 weeks and I'll be back in hospital for yet another operation on this silly abcess that I have. To be honest I'll be glad when it's fixed. I'm hoping that the Aug op will be the last time that I have to worry about it. After 8 years it's becoming a quite annoying. If it doesn't work next op, then I guess I'll be back in there in November.

Thursday coming is Foxtel day. YAY! We weren't going to worry about getting it for a few months yet, but at the end of June we had a guy come round and talk us into it. It was meant to be installed Thurs last week, but there was a mix up, I thought we were getting Satellite but they had it down as Cable, and there's no way they're going to rip up our front yard in order to do that. So Satellite dish it will be. Doesn't bother me either way.

Had a phone call from my best friend tonight. It was quite funny though, I had only thought 20 mins before Helen rang that I should call her tonight, I hadn't seen nor heard from her for a few days. And she called about half an hour afterwards. I really wish that we were back in Toowoobma at the moment to give her a hand. She's having a rough trot with the kids, and unfortunately doesn't have anyone to take them for an hour or so just to give her and Christian a break. Maybe if and when Rich and I get there I'll babysit them for a little while so she can go out for some her time. I makes you realise just how lucky you are having family around to take care of the kids. I would be really lost right now if I didn't have Mum to take care of the boys for me. I really appreciate having the 2 days a week away from them, it just gives me time to do me stuff.

Anyway should probably go, Harrison is yet again in the kitchen. Thinking I might put him to bed now. James is asleep so I can now put Harrison down without having to worry that James will wake him up. Just hope that Harrison goes straight off to sleep.

Night all and will be back soon. Take care Gail.xoxoxo

Monday 9th July 2007

Wow!! It's been a while since I last wrote in here.

The girls are now back in Brissie with their mum. We had a good time with them. Wasn't for as long as I had wished, but what can you do, you have to make do with what time you're given. Only 5 more months and they will be here for 3 weeks over Christmas.

Speaking of which. I went to the Kmart toy sale the other day with mum. I was going to put some toys on layby for the kids for Christmas, but instead put them on the coles myer card and they are now put away for December. Silly me though got all this stuff but didn't get anything for Harrison's birthday. I guess I'm lucky that the Target sale starts in less than 2 weeks time. Another chance to get some more stuff, and also a few bits and pieces for Richard and myself.

Richard is now working 7 days a week. I hardly see him anymore, but it means that we can give the kids the kind of life that we have always wanted. He's working around 30-40 hours a week and then of course sleeps during the day. Trying to keep the kids quiet while he's sleeping is a challenge in itself. During the week is pretty easy, being that Rich finishes most nights about 2am, he doesn't mind so much if the kids make some noise, but Friday, Saturday nights he works right through till 7am usually. So we then head off to Mum's for a few hours so he can sleep.

I've decided that I'm going to try and loose some weight before my birthdy at the end of the year. In the past 2 weeks I have lost 3.2kgs. I am absolutely over the moon with that. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I'm loving going to the gym everyday. I've joined my local Fernwood and the ladies there are so lovely. They always have time to stop and talk, and hopefully in the next few months they will have a creche up and running so I can take the boys and go early in a morning. At the moment I'm having to go about lunch time because of Richard sleeping.

Well not really much more to say at the moment. Things here slowly plod along.

Take care
Gail.

School holidays are here at last!!!!

No craft items to update this time round. Have been too busy spending time with the family and getting used to Richard's new work hours. He is now working 30+ hours a week, which is brilliant for us. We are always saying how good this move from Toowoomba to Adelaide was for us, but everytime he gets more hours, it just brings home HOW good a move it was. Of course we miss all our friends and Richard's family, but we just have to deal with it.

This week we've had the girls with us. They did their first ever flight from Brisbane to Adelaide on their own. They both thought that they were so grown up and can't wait to do the next trip back home. It was so cute watching James at the airport on Thursday night though. He sat himself down at the big window and watched all the activity on the runway. Everytime he saw a plane land he would say "PLOP" and make a noise. Then when the girls had come off the plane and up the walkway, James decided that he would run down to meet them. The entire way down he would say "giggin, bebe" (Kristen and Phoebe). Once he saw them and gave them a cuddle he let out this massive laugh. He had been waiting ALL day for his sisters to arrive and there was NO WAY he was going to sleep that night.

Tomorrow we are heading off to Victor Harbour for the day, so will have to post some piccies when I'm done. We are hoping to see some whales. I had a look at the Whale Centre Website the other day and there had been a sighting of 2 Southern Right Whales down there, so fingers crossed it's a nice day and we manage to see some. I know that the girls will be REALLY excited to see them.

I can't believe how much Harrison is growing up. Day after day he amazes me with the new things that he does. I think though at the moment, that he has a new tooth coming through. He seems a little off colour and is crying a lot more. So hopefully it comes through soon and he can go back to being his usual charming self. We are getting lots of cuddles and smooches from him during the day when he's at his happiest, which is good. His favourite thing at the moment is to lay on the floor and put his head down, kind of like he's cuddling it. It's so cute.

I've joined up at the gym again, I'm really wanting to loose some weight before my birthday at the end of the year. So I'm going to Fernwood across the road from me. I'm going to try and make it Mon-Fri. I would LOVE to go everyday but that's just impossible while Rich is working. Maybe in the near future when they get a chreche set up then I can go and put the boys in there on the weekends. Will just have to wait and see.

Just added a few piccies of my boys. Haven't got any of the girls until tomorrow.

Well should get going, the girls are wanting to go to bed. Take care and talk soon.

Latest update!!

Sorry for there being no update from me for a while. I have 2 sick kids. They both have Bronchialitis and James has been really clingy. Not to mention getting things organized for James's 2nd Birthday on Thursday. I have how ever been able to get a few things done.

Like usual I have 3 or 4 projects on the go with a few more in the pipeline.

PINK AND PURPLE STRIPED DRESS!!
This is going to be a present for my God Daughter to be's Christening. As you can see I have half finished it. I don't have much time to get it finished, as the Christening is on the 1st July. So really should get a move on. I'm also wanting to do a poncho for her as it's getting really cold in Toowoomba from what I'm being told.

ANOTHER PAIR OF PANTS!!
I found this woll in Big W, unfortunately it's 100% acrylic, but I figured that it won't matter too much for a pair of warm pants for Harrison. Just something that he can wear around the house and to bed.

I also have another pair of pants on the needles for Harrison, as well as my jumper. So I think that I will be busy for a while to come.
Better get going and get these 2 ratbags out of bed before they scream the house down.
Have a good long weekend those enjoying it.
Take care
Gail.

Here they are at last!!!

Well I've finally finished them. I started knitting a pair of longies for Harrison about 2 weeks ago while I was in hospital and have finally finished them about 20 mins ago. I put them on him and they look great. They're a little too big and long so I think I might have to look for the next size down for him but I'm happy with them. Here they are.

Now to start on the next lot... Not sure what colours to do this pair yet. Maybe CROWS colours.. :)

Progress update.

Well hello there for today...

I've been a busy little bee the past few days. I was let out of hospital yesterday and spent the afternoon knitting away. I finished the back of my new jumper. Unfortunately that's all I can do for now until I can get the rest of the wool off layby. Hopefull that will be in a week or two's time.

Here are some photos of the jumper in progress. 1st photo is of the actual pattern and the second on is the back of the jumper totally finished. I'm quite proud of it so far.

Next thing to do is to finish off the longies that I've started knitting for Harrison. Better get on to them. Till next time.....
