Well last week for us was a busy one, more so than usual. Tuesday was Australia Day, which I blogged last week, then on Wednesday James started back at Kindy for the year. He was so excited, and couldn't WAIT to leave the house. 6am he woke up and came into our room, "Mummy, Mummy is it time for Kindy yet.." He was dressed, and ready to walk out the door at 7am, which for James is really unusual. Once he was at kindy that was it, he ran in the gate, said "Bye Mummy" and went to play with his friends. He's really looking forward to starting BIG BOY SCHOOL in Term 3 this year, that's all he's talking about at the moment.
James before Kindy on Wednesday.
James and Harry before Kindy.
And one of Harry just because.
Thursday and Friday were fairly quiet, Friday though was spent cleaning the house ready for Saturday night.
Saturday, during the day, Mum and I went to Adelaide, as it was my Sister-In-Law's baby shower. Veronica only has 10 weeks to go, we had an ok time, but you know, you can't have a great time, when Saturday was the first time we'd met ANY of her family, including her Mum. After Veronica had opened her presents it was time for us to leave, as we had to head back home and get ready for a BBQ at home for Richard's birthday.
We had our really really GOOD friends Lauren and Peter come over for Dinner and drinks. Lauren and I used to go to TAFE together years and years ago, and lost contact, then last year thanks to Facebook got back in contact. They arrived at 5pm, we had dinner and then started drinking. We had the best night we've had in YEARS!! Probably since we moved to Adelaide, it was awesome. L&P stayed the night and left early-ish the next day as they had something else booked that afternoon.
Yesterday was spent catching up on sleep and just resting after Saturday night. Both boys slept pretty much all day, so I was able to do some of my cross stitching.
Well I think that's about it, James is at Kindy at the moment, and Harrison it at Mum's. I've just spent all morning cleaning the house, so am about to sit down and do some more stitching.
